Skills for Business Development, Inc. was established in 1998. It is a national presentation skills company and distant learning institution that excels at defining and developing the core elements of effective business organisation. We are committed to supporting the South African government's Black Economic Empowerment program and believe South Africa is poised for significant growth in the future. We are delighted to have the calibre of Samaria Mkhabela join us in leading our BEE initiative, Leroy Hitchcock as Service Industry Specialist in the Hospitality Industry and Mark Ruthel, a Project Management Practitioner with extensive experience in IT Business Solutions (Oracle and SAP) project management as well as construction industry and certified in both PMBOK PMP (Project Management Professional) and PRINCE2. In doing so, we trust that we will be able to develop and train the most experienced and talented staff in South Africa.

We have also earned a reputation for excellence in the design and delivery of high quality corporate development programmes, particularly in the areas of Soft Skills Training, Workplace Communication, Supervisory/Managerial Skills Development , Information Technology, Project Management, Prince2 Certification AND the Hospitality Industry. We specialise in Corporate training programmes and business skills development courses for all staff levels from management, secretarial to call centre and sales staff.

Personally, we don't stay static, nor does Skills for Business Development Incorporated. It keeps changing, evolving and developing just like people do. Some years ago someone asked us how we saw our future, and we said, "We'll keep doing this till it isn't fun anymore. Then we'll do something different."
